Located in Texas Reds Steakhouse.The most talented musicians in the state of New Mexico play here. The incredible Mike Addington and Paul Gatton our house musicians play most weekends. Often have guest musicians passing through such as Jodi Maphais, Tommy Elskes, Chris Dracup, Jed Zimmerman, Larry Joe Taylor, Keith Sykes, Gary P. Nunn, Josh Grider, Chuck Pyle and others. BAND OF HEATHENS
The group's first two albums were both live affairs, 2006's Live from Momo's and 2007's Live at Antone's (which was also released on DVD), while their third, simply called The Band of Heathens, was produced by Ray Wylie Hubbard and released in 2008 on BOH Records. WALT WILKINS & the MYSTIQUEROS
Wilkins, a gifted songwriter, has earned comparisons to Guy Clark and Kris Kristofferson. His credits include “Songs About Texas,” the single that launched Pat Green’s career, Ricky Skaggs’ “Seven Hillsides” from the GRAMMY Award-winning SOLDIER OF THE CROSS and Ty Herndon’s “Big Hopes,” which was the title track for that record. Most recently, GRAMMY Award-winning artist Pam Tillis recorded on her new CD his “Someone, Somewhere Tonight” from MUSTANG ISLAND. HOT CHILE DAYS, COOL MOUNTIAN NIGHTS
This three day event combines live music all weekend with Larry Joe Taylor & Friends, then a CASI sanctioned chili cook-off and an LSBS sanctioned BBQ cook-off in the park on Saturday, August 13th thru 15th.
