At an altitude of 8,750 feet, Red River is four square miles of valley located in the Southern Rocky Mountains. Red River has become a western tradition for countless returning families. Red River is the "Ski Town of the Southwest." At 10,350 ft., Black Mountain rises directly from the town. The mountain, a short stroll from 90% of the lodges and restaurants, provides 57 runs and 6 lifts. Red River has 43 hotels and rental services with a wide variety of lodging choices.
